Heavy Snowfall Alert, Freezing Water Bodies, Temperature to Get Down

Winter Season is full of windy weather and heavy snowfall. The continuous snowfall in the mountains of North India has increased in the cold in plains as well. According to the Meteorological Department, the effect of snowfall on the mountains is directly reaching Delhi and adjoining states along with northern winds.

The cold winter winds continue in Rajasthan as well. At the same time, the temperature in Srinagar is recorded at minus 6.0 degrees Celsius. Also, the temperature in Delhi is recorded at 4.6 degrees Celsius. The adjoining area connecting to Delhi continues to face the cold weather.

As per the reports severe cold is to be seen for the next few days and the temperature will fall down. According to the weather report, it will be cold for the next few days. Cold waves may prevail in some places and cold weather will be seen for the next few days.

Cold Waves to be seen in the capital

In Delhi, the coldest day of the season was recorded on Saturday. The minimum temperature in Delhi on Sunday morning was 4.6 degrees Celcius. Amidst the falling in temperature, the pollution in Delhi continues to be the same. The air is getting deteriorated day by day.

Continues Snowfall in the Mountains

In the mountains of Himachal to Uttarakhand, there is continuous snowfall. The chilling winter season continues. Natural water sources freeze in many places. Water in taps and ponds froze in Kedarnath and Mukteshwar as the minimum temperature dropped below zero.
