Unlock 5.0 Guidelines: Life will be easy, many important changes will happen from tomorrow

Important rules are going to change from October 1. These will directly affect your life and pockets. So it is important to know what changes are going to happen in which rules.

Driving license will be easier to get: Now more documents will not be required to get a driving license. The central government has simplified the rules a bit. According to the new notification, the Aadhaar card can now be used to create online driving license, renewal of license, registration of vehicle and change the address recorded in the document.

It is not compulsory to keep driving license and RC together  : The government is going to monitor online driving documents and other documents related to the vehicle through online portal. In such a situation, there will be no need to present the original driving license and RC (registration certificate) during the vehicle test. Its soft copy will also be valid.

Exemption of use of mobile while driving: The government has given permission to use mobile to detect navigational avenues while driving. Take care not to distract the driver during this time. However, there will be no leeway to talk on mobile. In case of talking, a fine of up to 1-5 thousand rupees may have to be paid.

SBI has given relaxation in minimum balance: Monthly average balance for the consumers of metros and urban areas will be Rs. 3000. Earlier the minimum balance limit was five thousand rupees. Relief has also been given in fines. If the minimum balance in these areas is reduced by 75 per cent, then a penalty of Rs 15 and GST will have to be paid, while at present, you have to pay Rs 80 and GST. Apart from this, the National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) and Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) charges have also been reduced from earlier. Now up to Rs 10 thousand from the bank branch, a fee of Rs 20 and above Rs 2 lakh for NEFT will have to be paid. There is no charge in advance for using these facilities online. Apart from this, 10 checks will be given free to the bank account holder for the first time. Earlier this system was not there.

Shopkeepers will not be able to sell old sweets : Shopkeepers will no longer be able to sell old sweets. According to the instructions of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), those selling open sweets from October 1 will also be required to specify the maximum limit for its use. The FSSAI has written a letter to the Food Safety Commissioners of all states and union territories to ensure compliance.

Now GoAir flights will be available from the new terminal: If you are going to travel from Delhi to any other place in Delhi in the coming days, then this news is very useful for you. GoAir has decided to operate all flights to and from Delhi from the airport’s terminal number two from October 1. Facebook can ban news content, Facebook and Instagram may be banned from sharing news. The new service condition is being implemented for this. Facebook can prevent any publisher or person from sharing local or international news on its platform.

Money to be paid on sending abroad: A new rule related to tax deduction (TCS) on additional tax source will also apply. If you send money to your child studying abroad or provide financial help to a relative, then you will have to pay an additional 5% TCS on the amount. However, the tax will be applicable only if the amount sent abroad is more than seven lakh rupees. According to the Finance Act, 2020, TCS has been provided under the Liberalized Remittance Scheme (LRS) of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). However, TCS will be levied only if the money sent abroad is not included in the income already covered by the tax deducted at source (TDS). Refunds can also be claimed if TDS has already been given and TCS has been deducted.

More facilities will be available in health insurance : There is going to be a big change in the health insurance policy under the rules of insurance regulator IRDAI. From October onwards, all existing and new health insurance policies will cover more diseases at an affordable rate. This change has been done for the convenience of consumers. LPG connection will not be available for free Under the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY), the provision of free gas connection ends on September 30, 2020. Due to Corona infection, the Central Government extended the scheme from April to September.

TV can be expensive: Buying television from October can also be expensive. The central government has decided to revoke the five per cent customs duty on the import of open cells used in the manufacture of TVs. For this, the government had given a one-year exemption, which ends on September 30.
