Strong earthquake in Baikunthpur, Chhattisgarh: Heavy damage to people

Mild tremors of the Chhattisgarh earthquake were felt in Chhattisgarh’s Korea on Monday morning. It had a power of capacity 4.3 on the reactor scale.

The epicenter of the quake is said to be 16 km away from Baikunthpur in the west-north direction and 10 km from the ground. People felt a tremor for 2 seconds but did not know what happened.

National Seismology Center, can tell that tremors were felt at around 3.9 pm, 138 km from Ambikapur. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 15 km.
