Railways Jobs Case: CBI and ED raid in Bihar-Jharkhand, raids on RJD leaders' bases

The Central Investigation Agency is conducting raids in Bihar and Jharkhand. In Bihar’s capital Patna, the CBI has raided the railway job scam. CBI raids the premises of RJD leaders.

Raids are being conducted at the residence of RJD MP Ashfaq Karim, RJD MLC Sunil Singh, former MLC Subodh Rai.

Apart from this, raids are being conducted in Jharkhand in connection with illegal mining. CBI and ED have raided the capital Ranchi. The agency is raiding the residence of a person named Prem Prakash. Prem Prakash is said to have strong ties with politicians. Along with this, after questioning Pankaj Mishra (MLA representative of CM Hemant Soren) and others, fresh raids are being conducted.

Earlier on July 19, ED had arrested Pankaj Mishra. A special PMLA court in Ranchi sent him to ED custody till August 1. ED has seized crores of rupees, cash, illegally operated stone crushers in 50 bank accounts in this case.

Not CBI, but BJP’s Raid: Manoj Jha

RJD MP Manoj Jha has targeted the BJP over the raids of investigative agencies. Manoj Jha said that today there is a floor test in the Bihar assembly and BJP has chosen this day to scare. You cannot fight politically. You call them raids of BJP, not of ED, CBI. These organizations work for the BJP.

Manoj Jha further said that yesterday only our Deputy Chief Minister had said that these people will go to this level. One day that will also come when you will not be there and you will also come in this JD. From Delhi to Maharashtra and then Bihar, you have the same script. We are Bihari are durable…not for sale.
