Earthquake shakes Iran, 4.9 magnitude on Richter scale

Tehran, agency. A 4.9 magnitude earthquake struck Iran near the nuclear power plant. USGS reports said that the quake struck at 7.50 am Indian time. The epicenter of the earthquake was Borzan. Initial information has not revealed any casualty.
Earlier on 30 December 2019 last year, earthquake tremors were felt in a city in southern Iran. The seismology center of the country has given this information. The tremors were then felt at Kale Qazi village, about 40 km from the main port city of Bandar Abbas.
