The US Defense Minister Bluntly, No Decision To Withdraw US Forces From Iraq

Tensions have increased in the Middle East after Iran’s General Qasim Sulemani was killed in an air strike. While Iran has asked for revenge from America, Donald Trump has warned that if Iran attacks his bases, he will destroy him. Meanwhile, Iraq has asked the US military to go out of its land, while the US has made it clear that no decision has been taken to withdraw US forces from Iraq.
US Defense Minister Mark T Asper has made it clear that there is no program to withdraw US forces from Iraq. In fact, on Monday, the report spread that a letter from the Pentagon to Iraq stated that US forces would return home to prepare for another mission. But now the statement of the US Defense Minister has taken a new turn in the matter.
