India’s Ambassador to the United Nations T.S. Thirumurthy informed by tweeting that Foreign Minister Dr. S Jaishankar has reached New York. The External Affairs Minister is on his 5-day visit to the US from today.

During this period, S Jaishankar is expected to meet UN Secretary-General Antonio Gutarais in New York. He will then also meet with American counterpart Antony Blinken. S Jaishankar can discuss the purchase of the vaccine with American leaders and other stakeholders.
