PM Modi takes first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, appeals to people

PM Modi said- ‘Come, together, make India COVID-19 free.’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken the first dose of Corona virus vaccine in AIIMS, Delhi. He has given information by tweeting about it.

With this, PM Modi has said in his tweet, “Whoever is eligible, I appeal to take all those vaccines. Come, together, make India COVID-19 free. ”
According to news agency ANI, Puducherry’s sister P Niveda gave a dose of covaxine to PM Modi.

Let us know that the second phase of the COVID-19 vaccination campaign in the country is starting from March 1. Under this phase, people above the age of 60 years and people above the age of 45 suffering from serious illness are also being included in the vaccination campaign.

The private health sector has also been included in the second phase. Recently, Union Minister Prakash Javadekar had told that in the second phase, people will be vaccinated at 10,000 government centers, while about 20 thousand private clinics or centers will be vaccinated.

Healthcare and frontline workers have been vaccinated for free in the first phase of the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign starting from January 16.

In the second phase, the vaccine will be installed free of cost at government centers. At the same time, private clinics and centers will have to pay a fee for this.

Regarding the cost of vaccine at private centers, Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan tweeted, “The Ministry of Health has issued guidelines for vaccines in private hospitals (or centers).” Under this, the maximum cost of the vaccine has been fixed at Rs 250 per dose.
