UAE ban on issuing new visas for 12 countries including Pakistan

Pakistan has received a setback from the United Arab Emirates. The UAE has banned the issuance of new visas for Pakistani nationals. Pakistani media has given this information by quoting the country’s Foreign Office spokesman Zahid Hafiz. The spokesman said that the United Arab Emirates has banned the issuance of new visas for citizens of 12 countries, including Pakistan. However, this suspension will not be applied to visas already issued.

Apart from Pakistan, these countries will also not get visa

Apart from Pakistan, 11 other countries have also been banned for new visas. These include Turkey, Iran, Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Libya, Kenya and Afghanistan.

Second wave of Corona in Pakistan

It is being told that this decision has been taken by the UAE due to the increasing cases of Corona. It is known that the second wave of Corona epidemic has started in Pakistan. According to the country’s Ministry of Health Services, 37 people have died of corona infection in Pakistan in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of deaths has risen to 7,230. Apart from this, 3,63,380 people have been infected in Pakistan so far, while the number of people who have been cured has reached three lakh 25 thousand 788. At the same time, the condition of 1,551 people remains critical, the number of active cases has gone up to 30, 362.

In addition, 1,57,432 cases have been reported in Sindh, 1,11,626 in Punjab, 42,815 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 24,871 in Islamabad, 16,529 in Balochistan, 5.640 in Ghulam Kashmir and 4,415 in Gilgit Baltistan.
