Phishing is a kind of online fraud through which people are asked to share their personal information such as bank details or passwords.

People involved in this forgery describe themselves as representing the right and reputed company and get their personal information from the front by convincing them of their views.

Such online attackers send you text messages, contact you via mail or can even call you directly.

The victims of phishing feel that the message, mail or phone call came from their own bank or service provider.

Often its victims are told that they have to provide some information for activation of their bank account or security check.

They are told that if you do not provide that information, then your account can be closed.

In most cases, this fraud involves unknown people sharing their personal details.

In this type of online forgery people are taken to a fake website which looks absolutely real.

They are asked to enter their personal information in that website.

As soon as people enter personal information, cyber criminals use them to rob you easily. Malware is installed in those fake websites which also steals you personal information.

Cheating people and obtaining passwords and personal information like this is still the easiest way of cyber criminals all over the world.

How to avoid online fraud?

Phishing” Always be alert from phone calls, mails and messages coming from unknown places, especially in situations where the person who contacts you does not address you in your name.

Big companies never ask you for your personal information through phone or mail.

Be even more cautious with those mail and text messages in which you are asked to click a link.

But if you are not sure whether the person sending you the mail or the caller is real and genuine, then it is best that you call the company yourself and use the same phone number for this, such as bank statement, phone bill or Be written on the back of the debit card.
