According to the news of Times of India, the Bihar Civil Court has banned the release of Motichur Chaknachur. A local distributor has claimed the rights to the film. There is also talk of having related documents in his support. There are reports that there are complaints against film producer Rajesh Bhatia that he is not clearing deuce. Bombay High Court had stayed the film trailer

It is also reported that the producer had first fired the director Debamitra. Debamitra had filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking a stay on the trailer. After which the Bombay High Court had stayed the trailer of the film Motichoor Chaknachur.

Actually, the film’s writer Dev Mitra Biswal had filed a petition in the court due to his not being clear of dews. However, this ban was later lifted by the court. There were also reports that Athiya has not yet been paid in full.
