Life Lessons from Entrepreneurial Journey

For many people, being an entrepreneur is a difficult and time-consuming process. Some people are just lucky, and they excel the first time they try their hand at something. That wasn’t the case for me.

Vivek Yadav Pune shares his theory sharing the valuable life lessons he learned on this journey. Let’s hear it from him only!

I always focussed on growing and learning new things. After everything was said and done, I learned the following lessons, which I now apply to any new venture or endeavor I take on:

It is possible to innovate straightforwardly.

For a long time, I believed that the only way to be successful was to create something that had never been done before. Granted, sometimes, an invention may be as easy as taking a shortcut.

The concepts should be simple and not make use of any cutting-edge technological advancements. They serve a fundamental purpose. Simple concepts given a new spin can be a recipe for success.

Perform a test and get started right away.

Too many times, I’ve had an idea and then mulled over numerous situations and how it may play out in the real world.” Everything I did was based on thorough research, and I made educated guesses and estimates about every possibility.

That’s necessary to some degree, but the ideal way is to begin developing and testing a concept. Work out how to put together the most basic form of your product and deliver it to potential consumers quickly. After you go through this process, you will have the greatest notion of how your product will do in the market, and you will get valuable input that will help you refine your concept further.

Focus on the here and now and be flexible.

I learned how to make company plans and outlines for the next five years in school. However, how can you make long-term plans when the environment is always changing?

Make a plan, but keep it focused on the immediate future. Depending on the project, I now prefer to make plans six months or a year in advance. I don’t create plans that may be changed as the situation evolves to save time and energy.

Put in the time and effort, and then go out and have fun.

There are several accounts of incredibly dedicated business owners. People talk about working 80-hour weeks as if those who don’t aren’t genuine entrepreneurs.

Yes, becoming an entrepreneur is challenging, and you’ll have to put in more hours than others. But don’t neglect your relationships with family and friends or your enjoyment of life. If you don’t want to give up those things, then don’t. That is my strong recommendation.

The worst-case scenario is that you work long hours, put your personal life on hold, and your business goes under. Otherwise, your business and personal connections will suffer.

Your firm may prosper, but you may feel trapped in your job (like I did) and compelled to work long hours to ensure its success. This eventually results in burnout. Does being burned out and desiring a break affect your ability to build a business effectively?

Organize your day and give yourself time to rest and recharge. Take breaks and days off as needed. Allow yourself to be social and to spend time with loved ones. Clearing your thoughts will allow you to make better judgments or come to conclusions you otherwise would not have.

In the end, it isn’t just about you or your concept.

Spend some time helping and serving others. As a result of my initial emphasis on my enterprises, I was myself, me, and I. This was an isolating situation that harmed both my personal life and my professional endeavors.

Since then, my priorities have shifted, and I now make time for others regularly. I am constantly on the lookout for new ways to serve others. This not only improves my self-esteem but is also beneficial to my company. Whether or not you believe in karma, helping others will attract more clients and customers.

Don’t hold your breath waiting for a reward. The deed must be entirely unselfish and originate from the heart. People you’ve helped in the past may be willing to assist you in the future. Sometimes they do, but not always. Never stop assisting and doing a favor for others, no matter how many times it takes.

Stay updated with the Industry

I used to think of myself as a pancake since I had so many different abilities. I had a rudimentary understanding of a wide range of sectors and areas of competence.

This is excellent for leading teams, but it left me feeling average and uninspired in other areas of my life. Nothing about me was well-known.

About two years ago, I made the conscious decision to devote the bulk of my energy and time to mastering a single skill. I learned via books and articles, as well as by writing and networking with other professionals. As a result, I’ve had access to several possibilities that I would not have otherwise had.

Please don’t attempt to be all things to all people when it comes to business. Keep up-to-date on industry practices and skills aligned with your emphasis, and push yourself to improve your talent, product, or service to be the greatest in the area that’s needed and desired. After that, you may start expanding.

Recognize and celebrate even the smallest victories

Vivek Yadav Cantonment Business Victory

Starting a business is difficult; developing a business is difficult, and managing a company is difficult. It becomes old doing the same thing over and over again. Sometimes it seems as though I’m not making progress or winning anything.

The major successes are often celebrated, but what about the little victories?

Make a list of minor accomplishments to celebrate in your short-term strategy. Remember that you don’t need an amazing client or hundreds of consumers to celebrate before you can truly relax and enjoy your success. Squeeze a tiny code problem and celebrate your first customer or transaction in a few days. Take pleasure in the accomplishment of completing three months.

Recognizing minor wins may give you a boost in confidence and motivation. They might help you feel better by reducing your stress levels. Even if your accomplishments aren’t earth-shattering, having a good time helps you notice them. They keep you going by motivating you. Vivek Yadav Cantonment is a successful businessman today, who focused on learning from his mistakes, which makes him a success today!
