KL Rahul has achieved a great record by scoring his second consecutive half-century in a T20 International match on New Zealand soil. It was amazing that on the basis of this innings, KL Rahul left behind the big batsmen of the Indian team, which includes players like Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh, and Suresh Raina.

KL Rahul became the first player to score two consecutive half-centuries in T20I in New Zealand.

KL Rahul not only led Team India to victory by playing an unbeaten half-century in the second match against New Zealand, but he also became the first batsman in India to score half-century in two consecutive matches in New Zealand in the shortest format of cricket. Prior to KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh and Shreyas Iyer had played one half-century each in International T20 cricket in New Zealand. Now KL Rahul has gone to the forefront. KL Rahul scored 56 runs in the first match against New Zealand in Auckland in the first match of the five-match T20 series and an unbeaten 57 in the second match.
