Dense Fog Halts Trains Speed, 25 Trains Canceled, 30 Late, Normal Operations Suspended At Delhi Airport

Due to the disturbances and northwest winds of Kashmir, dense fog is increasing the problems of people in many areas of Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan on Monday. The Northern Railway Region’s 30 trains passing through Delhi are running late while many trains have been canceled. At the same time, flights to and from Delhi have been affected. Normal operations are suspended at Delhi Airport due to low visibility while at least three flights have to be diverted

According to the Railways, a total of 25 trains have been canceled due to the issue of fog in this season while 30 are running late. A large crowd of passengers on platforms is forced to withstand the cold. Canceled trains include 13151 Jammu-Tavi X, 14005 Lichchavi Ex, 14217 Unchahar Ex, 14218 Unchahar Ex, 14223 Mercury Purnima Ex, 14224 Mercury Purnima Ex, 14235 Varanasi Bareilly Ex, 12595 Gorakhpur Anandvihar Humsafar Ex, 12397 Mahabodhi Kumbha Ex, 12367 There are many trains including Ax.

Due to the dense fog at Delhi Airport, flights have been disrupted and there are problems in landing and take-off of aircraft. According to the Meteorological Department, the people of Delhi will not get relief from the harsh winter and fog for the next 24 hours. Delhi-NCR may receive rain on January 1. The All India Weather Bulletin states that light rains may occur along with the movement of clouds in the sky till January 3 in Delhi-NCR. In addition, cold wave will continue across North India.
