Hanoi, IANS. According to the country’s Ministry of Health, no new cases of COVID-19 infection have been reported in Vietnam. A total of 332 cases of corona virus have been confirmed in the country and so far there has not been a single death. Meanwhile, another patient was declared recovering from the disease, taking the total number of people in the country to 317. Xinhua Agency reported. The Ministry of Health said on Tuesday that Vietnam has not recorded any direct local transmission for 54 days, while around 9,100 people in the country are quarantined and under surveillance.

Speaking at a government meeting held here on Tuesday, Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc announced COVID-19 safe zones for prevention and control to the country’s National Steering Committee, which have not recorded any COVID-19 infections in the last 30 days is. According to the Vietnam News Agency, international flight routes have been reported to be reopened once again.
