These manners of childhood are the weapon of escape from Corona.

New Delhi, Lifestyle Desk. From childhood to school, we are taught the same etiquette to keep a handkerchief over the mouth while sneezing and coughing and wash hands before eating food. These childhood etiquettes have become lifelines in the coronary period. These small things not only symbolize good manners, but also help us in preventing the spread of serious respiratory diseases. The whole world is plagued by the corona epidemic and in such a situation it is necessary for all of us to practice these etiquettes learned in childhood, so that the corona can be protected.

Why etiquette is necessary when coughing:

By following the etiquette of coughing, sneezing, you can prevent respiratory infections such as cold, flu, and even coronavirus from spreading to other individuals. You know that coronavirus spreads through mouth droplets. If you cough or sneeze in the open without taking care of people, then these droplets can reach a healthy person and make them a victim of the virus. You would be surprised to know that a sick person can send infected droplets up to a distance of six feet and these particles remain in the air for several hours, which is enough to make many people around them sick. It is not that you should follow the etiquette of coughing and sneezing at the time of illness, but also the proper etiquette of coughing and sneezing even when you are healthy.

Things you should do: There are some things you should adopt to prevent corona infection.

  • Every time you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue paper. It is better to use disposable tissue.
  • If you do not have tissue paper at that time, then you cough or sneeze in your elbow. This way your hands will not get contaminated with the flu virus.
  • Always keep your face away from other people while coughing or sneezing.
  • Get away from coughing or sneezing people.
  • Do not throw the tissue paper used while coughing or sneezing in the open after use, but put it in the dustbin.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before touching your face or any part of it.
  • If soap and water are not available, apply a sanitizer to your palms.
  • If you are ill, it is better to stay at home and rest. This way the chances of spreading the infection to others will be reduced.
