Biden promised to make a woman the vice-presidential candidate

Washington, Pret. Leader of the opposition Democratic Party of America, Joe Biden, has promised that if he is successful in getting the presidential candidature, then he will make a woman candidate for the Vice President. Former Vice President Biden is running ahead of rival Bernie Sanders in the race to become a presidential candidate from the Democratic Party.
During a televised debate between the two Democrats contenders, 77-year-old Biden said on a question, “I will choose the woman for the vice-presidential position.” I am also committed that if I am elected President, I will appoint the first black woman in the courts.
In the 2008 election, Republican candidate John McCain nominated Sarah Palin as the Vice Presidential candidate. But McCain lost to Barack Obama in the presidential election. In 2016, Hillary Clinton became the first woman to receive presidential candidacy, but lost to Donald Trump in the election.
