Akshay Kumar has announced his new project on social media. Through a poster of the film, Akshay has shared his first look and has also given the release date of the film.

Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is known for doing the most films in the industry. Every year they do at least 3 to 4 films. While the actor is busy shooting for the coop film Suryavanshi on one side, he has recently announced another new film of his. Akshay has shared his first look from the film. The title of the film is Bell Bottom. According to reports, it is believed that this movie is a remake of Kannada film, while Akshay has denied this.

Akshay ‘s retro look is seen in the image shared by Akshay. He is seen sitting on top of the car in style. Along with the poster, Akshay wrote in the caption – Get ready to go in the 80s. Roller Coaster Spa Ride, the film will be released on January 22, 2021. According to the source, this film is the official adaptation of the Kannada movie based on this title. The film was directed by Jayatirtha. Rishabh Shetty and Haripriya played the lead roles in the film. The film was very much liked to show the 80s beautifully among the people. The scripting of the film is going on and the shooting of the film will start by the end of 2019.

Akshay said no remake

While the film is being called a Kannada remake in source, Akshay Kumar has denied this. On Akshay’s post, a Twitter user asked if this film is a remake of Kannada movie. Responding to this, Akshay tweeted and said – Bell Bottom is not a remake of any film. This is an original screenplay based on true events.
