The tremors were felt in Palghar, Maharashtra at 2.50 am on Tuesday. Its intensity on the Richter scale is measured at 3.5. Significantly, earthquake tremors have been felt in some areas of Maharashtra for some time now. Earlier on September 11, earthquake tremors were felt in Mumbai and Nashik. There is an atmosphere of panic among the people due to these tremors being felt continuously for some time.

Earlier on September 9, there was a 3.2 magnitude earthquake in Nashik, Maharashtra. On September 1, the tremors were felt in Palghar, Maharashtra at 3.47 pm. There was chaos among the people as soon as the earthquake was felt. People came out of their homes. However, there has been no news of loss of life or property from any earthquake that has come so far. At the same time, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake measured 2.5 on the Richter scale. Significantly, in the national capital Delhi before this, the tremors of earthquake have been felt in many parts of the country.
