Former World No-1 Serena Williams defeated Ukraine’s Alina Svitolina 6-3, 6-1 in the US Open semi-finals.

With this, Serena managed to make a record 10th time (Open Era) in the US Open final. He is just one win away from capturing the record 24th Grand Slam title. Talking about winning the most Grand Slam singles of all time, Margaret Court of Australia captured 24 Grand Slams.

Serena Williams, who returned to action after becoming a mother, came close to the Margaret Court record three times. This year she lost to Simona Halep in the Wimbledon final.
