Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan indicated in a press conference
The central government indicated on Tuesday that those who had vaccinated COVID-19 would not get a chance to choose their choice from the vaccines approved for emergency use in the country.
Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said in a press conference, “More than one vaccine is being used in many places in the world, but in any country, vaccine users are not being given the opportunity to choose their choice. ”
Let us know that the drug regulator of India has recently approved the Emergency Use of Oxford University-AstraZeneca’s ‘Kovishield’ and Bharat Biotech’s ‘Kovaxine’ COVID vaccine.
Bhushan said that a second dose of vaccine will be given at an interval of 28 days and its effect will be seen after 14 days. He said, “Therefore we request people to behave appropriately with respect to COVID-19. ”
Bhushan said that 54.72 lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been delivered to the scheduled national and state level storage centers by Tuesday afternoon.
In this way, the vaccination campaign will start from Saturday. He said that by January 14, 1.1 crore from Serum Institute of India and 55 lakh doses from Bharat Biotech will be provided.
