Aleem Dar leads big record, Lords equals Steve Buckner
Aleem Dar made his debut in umpiring in the Test match played between Bangladesh and England in October 2003.

Aleem Dar has equaled West Indies’ Steve Buckner’s record of umpiring the most Test matches on Thursday. He achieved this in the second Test match of the Ashes series being played at the Lodgers ground. This is Aleem Dar’s umpire 128th Test match.
After this big achievement, Dar said, “I am honored to be umpiring in Test matches at par with my idol Steve Buckner.”

51-year-old Dar made his debut in umpiring in the Test match played between Bangladesh and England in October 2003. He has so far umpired in 376 matches, including all formats of the game.
