After the attack on Israel, the army responds to the bombing of Gaza; Targeting terrorist bases

Jerusalem, AFP. Israel has launched one back-to-back attack on the Gaza Strip on Saturday. Responding to a missile attack by Gaza in southern Israel, Israeli planes continued to bombard several areas of the Gaza Strip early Saturday.

A Gaza security source said that dozens of attacks took place in the early hours and the Palestinian enclave was attacked in the meantime.

The Israeli military has said that they were targeting terrorist targets. In the Gaza Strip, the Ministry of Health said that many people were injured, at least one seriously injured.

An AFP correspondent said that the sound of the blast could be heard in many areas below.

A source in the Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas said that they had opened fire on Israeli aircraft during the raid and the Israeli army confirmed the attack on behalf of Gaza.
