176 children of Sri Lanka lost their parents in the Easter attack

Colombo, Patr. In Sri Lanka, a total of 176 children lost their parents or both of them in a terrorist attack on the occasion of Easter. In this island country, on April 21, seven suicide bombers targeted three churches and three hotels. In these attacks, 258 people were killed and about 500 were injured.
The Daily Mirror newspaper quoted Malcolm Ranjit, head of the Catholic Church of Sri Lanka on Monday, “In the April 21 attack, 176 children lost their parents or any of them.
The Church is focusing on helping these children. He said that the Government took responsibility for the revival of the churches which were damaged in the attack.
Therefore, the church will not pay attention to it. They gave this statement during the visit to Rome. Malcolm told that he informed Pope Francis about the work done on behalf of the church for attacks in Sri Lanka and affected people.
