Three rockets fired again at US Embassy in Baghdad; Tensions heighten in US and Iran

Baghdad, AFP. Three rockets have been fired at the US embassy in the Iraqi capital’s high-security green zone. However, there is no news of any loss of life or property during this period. According to the information, soon after the rocket was fired, sirens were heard all over the area. The Green Zone is in central Baghdad, where government buildings and diplomatic facilities are located.

Explain that since the death of Iranian General Qasim Suleimani, tension is at a peak in the US and Iran. During this time, the American Embassy has been targeted in this way many times. The US blamed Iran-backed paramilitary groups for similar attacks on the green-zone, but responsibility has never been claimed.
