The 39-year-old Clinger played an unbeaten 102-run knock off 65 balls against Kent playing for Gloucestershire. This opener will say goodbye to his 21-year career after this tournament. This is his eighth century in T20. He is behind Gayle who has 21 centuries in his name.
Klinger is followed by Aaron Finch, David Warner, Luke Wright, Brendon McCullum, who have six centuries to their name. The ICC quoted Cleinger as saying, “I did not even know that I had completed a century because the main score was 91 runs on the board.”
