Who can do corona test while sitting at home? ICMR issued advisory

Regarding RAT at home, ICMR said – Indiscriminate testing is not recommended

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) issued an advisory on Wednesday, stating that the COVID-19 test at home using Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) is advisable only for people with symptoms and immediate contact with cases found positive from the lab. Is given only for

Apart from this, it has been said in the advisory, “Indiscriminate testing is not recommended. Home testing should be done according to the procedure described by the manufacturer in the user manual.

ICMR has suggested users to download the home testing mobile app on their smartphone and said that the app is a comprehensive guide to the testing process and it will give positive or negative test results to the patient.

ICMR has said, “All users are advised to click the picture of the test strip from the same mobile phone which has been used for downloading the mobile app and user registration after completing the testing process.” The data from your mobile phone app will be captured centrally in a secure server that is connected to the ICMR COVID-19 testing portal, where ultimately all the data will be stored. Patient confidentiality will be maintained completely. ”

Council has said that all the people who come positive in the test can be considered as genuine positive, so there will be no need for re-testing.

However, the ICMR has said that people with negative symptoms found in RAT should undergo RTPCR test immediately. He has said, “This is especially important because some positive cases with low viral load in the RAT are feared to be missed.” All RAT-negative people with symptoms can be treated as suspected COVID-19 cases. ”

ICMR has stated that the CoviSelf (PathoCatch) Covid-19 OTC antigen LF device made by Pune-based Mylab Discovery Solutions Limited has been approved.

Coronavirus Vaccine News: Preparation of vaccination in the country, how to register, they will get priority

Vaccination preparations are in the final stages to eliminate the corona virus. In the first phase, 300 million people are to be given two doses of the vaccine by July 2021. Oxford-AstraZeneca’s vaccine Kovishield has been approved for emergency use, but has assured to provide only 300 million doses by July. Now the question arises that from where will the remaining 30 crore doses come? From where will the government arrange this?

Where will the 300 million doses of vaccine come for 15 crore people: The Serum Institute has assured the government to supply 300 million doses of Kovishield by July 2021. Since each person is to be given two doses of the vaccine, the supply of covishield will allow only 15 crore people to be vaccinated. Harshal R. Salve, Assistant Professor, Department of Community Medicine, AIIMS, says: “We have to give a green signal to another vaccine to be included in the community vaccination.” The success of the vaccination campaign seems to depend on the success of the covicin.

No agreement with other companies: India has not already tied up with vaccine manufacturers such as Pfizer or Moderna to purchase the vaccine. However, negotiations are on for procurement and production with both companies. Pfizer has also sought emergency clearance in India. Currently, both companies are in high demand for the vaccine. In such a situation, if India approves the vaccine of these companies in a hurry, then there will be a possibility of taking time to come here.

Necessary for herd immunity: Vaccination of at least 70 percent population is necessary for development of herd immunity against Vovid-19. In such a situation, 90 crore people in India have to be given two doses of vaccine. If anyone else gets the green signal, 180 million doses of corona vaccine will be needed for 90 crore people.

Most relied on these vaccines: Two developing vaccines in India, Kovishield and Kovaxin, have received the green signal for emergency use. The production of Kovishield in India is being carried out by the Serum Institute, while Bharat Biotech has joined hands with the Indian Council of Medicine (ICMR) for covaxine. The Expert Committee of the Central Drug Standards Control Organization had recommended allowing for the emergency use of the covishield.

Vaccination preparations in full swing: Vaccination preparations are going on in the country. Cold stores, freezers, refrigerators, deep freezers etc. have been purchased and have been supplied to the states. Arrangements for storage of vaccines are being made at airports and railway stations.

How to get corona vaccine: The government has planned to vaccinate 300 million people in eight months. Dry run is going on for this. Vaccination preparations were tested in the country on Saturday. Vaccination can begin anytime.

They will get priority: About one crore health workers in government and private sector will be given priority in vaccination. However, for this the recommendation of the National Expert Group on Vaccine Administration for COVID-19 (NEGVAC) will be important. The priority category will include Integrated Child Development Services personnel, nurses, supervisors, medical officers, paramedical staff, support staff and students working in the frontline. Their data is being collected.

Here’s how to register: Register yourself on the Kovin website. After this, upload the photo identity card or Aadhaar issued by the government. This will be confirmed through a biometric or OTP system. After registration, the date and time for vaccination will be allotted. Registration will not be done on the spot.

Police and Corporation Personnel: The personnel of State and Central Police Force, Home Guards, Disaster Management and Civil Organization personnel, Jail personnel, Bodies personnel, Revenue personnel etc. will be given priority in vaccination. Their number is about two crore.

More than 19,000 people killed so far in the worldHow does korana virus infection spread?ย And for what reasons does it spread?ย Everyday new research is coming out on this.ย In recent research by Chinese experts, it has been found that the corona virus can survive for several weeks in human feces.ย During this time, this infection can spread after flies sit during open defecation.ย The result of this research has also been tweeted by Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan.ย Another thing has come out in this episode that even with loud laughs, corona virus can catch people.ย In fact, the Indian Council of Medical Research along with the doctors of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, has prepared a guideline to prevent the spread of corona virus. It is reported that laughing also poses a risk of corona virus.

A sharp laugh can also spread the virus

According to doctors, the corona virus is let out through droplets by coughing and sneezing, so do not touch the face with hands. Also, the virus also comes out when the infected person laughs out loud.

House floor cleaning is important

Its droplets can reach the floor during someone’s sneezing or especially, and they remain active for several hours, so there may be a risk of corona virus infection when someone comes into contact with it.ย In this case, wash the floor, table surface, etc. of the house with a cleaner or soap.

Wash hands after touching the surface

First of all it is important to understand that the corona virus has passed from one person to another. Through this can vary. In such a situation, if you touch unknown or suspicious surfaces, then wash or sanitize the hand.

Avoid alcohol and smoking

If you want to avoid the possible infection of the corona virus, stop the consumption of alcohol and smoking immediately, because the consumption of these two reduces the ability of any person to fight against diseases.ย In such a situation, there is a double problem when the infection of Korana virus is caught.

Blood pressure patients reduce salt intake

Experts say that due to the increasing effects and danger of Korana virus, people should reduce the amount of salt in their diet, especially high blood pressure patients.

Read preventive measures

  1. Keep the standard of living high
  2. Morning walk can be done in the morning
  3. Can walk on the terrace
  4. If necessary, it is necessary to leave work and home, then use mask
  5. If you have a cough or headache along with fever, contact a doctor immediately.
  6. Immediately separate yourself from other members of the house when fever and cough occur simultaneously.

35 cases confirmed in Delhi so far

According to the Delhi government’s health department, 35 cases have been confirmed in the capital Delhi so far.ย Of these, 28 patients are being treated in four different hospitals.ย Maximum patients are 13 in Safdarjung Hospital, six in Loknayak, six in Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital and two in GTB Hospital.ย On the other hand, the Delhi government has talked about making all kinds of arrangements to fully comply with the lockdown.ย
