SSC Exam 2020 Center Change: Three days to change exam city

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has given the option to the candidates to choose the city of the examination center as per their convenience for various competitive examinations to be conducted during the month of October and November. As per an important notice issued by SSC on Wednesday, 16 September 2020, candidates for the examinations proposed in October and November of CHSL, CGL, JE, Stenographer and Selection Post can select the examination center city as per their convenience. The Commission will be made available to the candidates for these exams to amend Exam City on the official website, ssc.nic.in from tomorrow, 18 September to 20 September 2020.

How to do SSC Exam 2020 Center Change?

Candidates who have applied for CHSL, CGL, JE, Stenographer and Selection Post examinations who want to choose the exam center of their choice, visit the official website of the Commission and login with the help of their registration number and password, Exam City Change will do. The Commission will provide the candidates the option of exam city change in their login on the dashboard itself.

Exam centers can be changed for these exams (SSC Exam 2020 Center Change for these Exams)

  • CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2019 – 12, 16, 19, 21 and 26 October
  • CGL 2019 Tier 2 Exam – 2 to 5 November 2020
  • JE Paper 1 Exam 2019 – 27 and 30 October 2020
  • Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2019 – 16 to 18 November 2020
  • Selection Post Phase – VIII Exam 2020 – 6, 9 and 10 November 2020

Only the candidates appealed

Appeal was given by the candidates to give an option to change the examination center for the above examinations. The candidates had sought the option of electing the examination city as per their convenience in the wake of the Kovid-19 epidemic. Due to this, the Commission made an important announcement yesterday.

Explain that the Staff Selection Commission had revised the dates for the above examinations through a notification issued on 21 July 2020, which was to be held in the months of March, May and June. However, the Kovid-19 could not be conducted due to the epidemic.
