On the first day of the month, Punjab National Bank has given a blog to its customer. PNB has reduced the deposits rates for savings accounts if less than Rs 10 lakh to 2.80 percent per annum. At the same time, if the account holder has an amount above 10 lakh in the savings account the rate of interest has also been reduced to 2.85 percent.
The rate of interest for new and old customers has become effective from yesterday i.e. December 1.
Savings accounts with less than Rs 10 lakh is 2.80 percent.
Saving account above Rs 10 lakh is 2.85 per annum.
Punjab National Bank is offering interest on fixed deposits ranging from 2.9 percent to 5.25 percent with tenures ranging from 7 days to 10 years. PNB is paying 2.9 percent interest on fixed deposits of 7 to 45 days. Also, they are offering 4.4 percent interest on FDs of less than one year. On the fixed deposits of one to two years bank is giving interest 5.10 percent interest.

The bank is offering interest of 5.25 percent interest on long-term FDs i.e. more than five years and 10 years. The rate of interest on FD is effective from 1st August 2021.
