Delhi: The molestation case of Gargi college students caught fire, the silence of the administration

The case of the molestation of female students at the festival of Gargi College, University of Delhi has caught fire. The students, who are angry with the administration for not taking any responsibility on the social media despite saying that the case is objectionable, are in the mood to go on indefinite strike in the college on Monday. It is being told that no student has given any complaint till now. But the students are very angry about this whole incident. At the same time, on this whole matter, the police say that they have not received any complaints of any kind. The college administration has also kept silent.

Significantly, on the night of February 6, at Gargi College, University of Delhi, girls were molested by hoodlings in the annual fest. A college student shared the entire incident that night on social media on Saturday. This tweet later went viral.

The student says that –

The student says that on February 6, on the last day of the fest, a few hooded walls came inside the college campus. Among them were some middle-aged. The night at the fest was a show by singer Zubin Nautiyal. For this, limited passes were distributed to the girl students. The student says that many of the hoodlums who entered the college campus were intoxicated.

These people misbehaved and molested the girl students. Some even followed him to the metro station. Due to such a crowd, many students started suffocating. Here, due to jammer, the network did not come on her mobile and she could not do SMS and Whats app. The student said in the tweet that the college security personnel failed to protect him. We could not feel safe in our own college. College administration should take responsibility for the incident.

It is being told that this program was also open to boys studying in other colleges of DU. Silence has been maintained on behalf of the administration, although no student has given any complaint to the administration. The students said that security personnel was asked to drive the mischievous men out of the premises. But he could not do that because of the crowd he could not find out who was making a ruckus.
