Read Time:1 Minute, 56 Second

The World Health Organization, the United Nations health agency for the world battling the Korana epidemic, has come out with good news. WHO Director General Tadross Adenom Ghebreyes has said that Kovacs, the vaccine of this epidemic, has started preparations for the purchase of about 2 billion doses. Let me tell you that Kovacs is an initiative started with the support of the whole world.

The aim of the organization is to make this vaccine available in a similar way in needy countries. It is expected from the organization that it will be made available by March 2021. All the countries involved in this initiative have also prepared a blueprint for giving vaccine. Under this, the vaccine will be given first to the health workers, after this the vaccine will be given to the needy patients. These will also be given first to the patients at higher risk. It has also been said by the organization that through this crores of lives will be saved.

According to the Director General of WHO, a roadmap has also been prepared to make vaccine available in various countries. In this, the countries which have expressed their desire to take it will be provided this vaccine on priority basis. Let us tell you that the initiative of the World Health Organization will help the poor countries of the world in this regard. According to WHO, by the end of 2021, 20 percent of the world’s population will be provided and the rest will be provided in 2022. It also simply means that the cycle of vaccine will continue till at least 2022. Meanwhile, the coming year will be cut around the shadow of Corona.

Ghebreyes has also expressed his happiness about this vaccine while talking to journalists. They have described it as a milestone. He said during this time that it is a very pleasant experience to say that we are moving towards the elimination of corona virus. Even after this, we have to take full precaution. If we do not do this, we will not only put ourselves but also others in trouble. So everyone has to move forward together. We will all have equal responsibility in this. He said that this news is like a light seen in a dark tunnel. But we have not reached there yet.
