Delhi Air Pollution: Delhi-NCR's bad condition due to poisonous air, AQI reached near 500

The effect of the smoke of the starch being lit in Punjab and Haryana has become a problem for the people of Delhi-NCR. Since Wednesday morning, the shadow smog in Delhi-NCR remains the same on Thursday. According to the Delhi Pollution Control Committee, the situation has worsened on Thursday. The cities adjacent to Delhi are in worse condition. According to the information received, the air quality level has reached 469 in Gurugram adjacent to Delhi and 458 in Noida. At the same time, the air quality level is 469 in Ghaziabad and 421 in Faridabad. On the other hand, there is no chance of improvement in air pollution with respect to the weather meteorologists. Air pollution levels may increase further in the next few days. According to Safar India, There is a possibility of further increase in the level of air pollution. In a couple of days it will reach serious category. According to meteorologists, if the situation remains the same, then emergency-like situations may soon occur in Delhi-NCR.

Wind direction also increased people’s problems

At the same time, according to the Meteorological Department, the wind direction was still southwest. Due to this wind coming from Rajasthan-Gujarat, not much of the smoke from Parali was reaching Delhi, but on Wednesday morning the wind turned northwest. It comes from Punjab and Haryana.

Visibility reduced due to pollution on Wednesday

Earlier on Wednesday, the Delhi-NCR smog sheet became extremely dense. This had a direct impact on visibility. The situation had started to deteriorate since morning and at half past five in the evening the visibility was just 600 meters. It usually lasts two and a half to three thousand meters. Delhi-NCR’s Air Quality Index (AQI) recorded over 300, with Gurugram being the exception. During this time people complained of eye irritation, throat pain and sore throat.
